Regional Health Services, Inc. seeks a Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician in Erie, Pennsylvania to diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries of the respiratory tract, including lung disease and breathing problems; prescribe medications and drugs, and order treatments and tests; provide care to critically ill and injured patients who are admitted to the hospital, monitoring their condition and treatment, and referring them to other specialists when necessary; and responsible for the care of patients with multisystem medical illnesses, including ventilator dependent respiratory failure, septic shock, pneumonia, multi-system failure with hemodynamic compromise, and renal and hepatic failure.
 
 Job Responsibilities:  (please list specific job responsibilities)
 
-Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries of the respiratory tract, including     lung disease and breathing problems
-Prescribe medications and drugs, and order treatments and tests
-Provide care to critically ill and injured patients
-Monitor patients’ conditions and treatments
-Refer patients to other specialists when necessary.
-Responsible for the care of patients with multisystem medical illnesses, including ventilator dependent respiratory failure, septic shock, pneumonia, multi-system failure with hemodynamic compromise, and renal and hepatic failure

Qualifications

Medical degree
-Completion of U.S. accredited graduate medical training program in Pulmonology and Critical Care
-Must be Board certified or Board eligible for certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care
-Must hold a valid Pennsylvania medical license
