Purpose:
Independently execute job functions for research protocol(s). Collect and gather research data for research project.

This position is grant funded. 

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit volunteers for research procedures
  • Understand and educate volunteers about the research study 
  • Screen subjects for research studies using semi-structured questionnaires
  • Administer structured clinical and neurocognitive instruments to complete all research evaluations Perform basic computer maintenance and optimal data transfer
  • Entry of clinical and neurocognitive data into computer database
  • Development of data queries for statistical analysis
  • Organization of the clinical and cognitive data for analysis
  • Educate and train students, volunteers and new recruits
  • Other related duties as assigned in connection with this research

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in psychology, social work or  counseling
  • Minimum of one year of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required.
  • Ability understand and administer instruments for diagnosis of various clinical conditions
  • Background of psychiatric assessments including cognitive evaluations
  • Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. 
  • Working knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and MAC OS X operating system
  • Proficient in Office packages, including but not limited to Microsoft database and spreadsheet programs
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and co-ordinate various research evaluations


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
