Troubleshoot HVAC and kitchen equipment problems.

  • Install basic components and wiring in HVAC systems.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area, equipment rooms and shop areas.
  • Perform all work following infection control procedures.
  • Perform basic kitchen equipment repairs.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on various HVAC systems as directed by Director of Maintenance or supervisor.
  • Performs repairs on PTAC and RTU units, exhaust fans, washers, dryers, etc.
  • Record personal work orders and submit hours to supervisor in a daily basis.
  • Required to be on-call on designated weekends and will be required to carry a cell phone and emergency pager when scheduled to respond to any building maintenance minor emergencies that may arise.
  • Traveling position responsible for the HVAC troubleshooting and repairs for Senior Living and BMS facilities in Western PA.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC problems and report higher level problems to supervisor.


  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Trade school background preferred. 
  • Four years experience working as a HVACR technician required. 
  • May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Automotive Insurance
  • Driver's License
  • Universal Resource Recovery Certification
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act
