Description

The Data Scientist - Deep Learning is responsible for analysis of data and information for various Community Care Behavioral Health clinical programs using deep learning methodologies. This Scientist will take a leadership role in helping Community Care Behavioral Health evaluate which current analytic processes offer greatest potential for improvement transitioning from more traditional machine learning approaches to deep learning. The Data Scientist - Deep Learning must also have the ability to translate program goals and objectives into testable hypotheses The Data Scientist will also serve as a process expert and provide guidance and consultation to other analysts as needed. The Data Scientist must have the ability to mentor and develop staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate in the deployment of these models
  • Collaboratively present proposed models and approaches to Community Care Behavioral Health stakeholders.
  • Implement and deploy models predicting individual-member change in outcome based on change in modifiable risk factors
  • Implement and optimize deep learning models using state-of-the-art software (e.g. PyTorch and/or Tensorflow)
  • Iteratively improve models based on deployment experience
  • Modify approaches based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Propose deep learning approaches to understanding and predicting interrelated course of medical and psychiatric disorders over time and selecting member-specific areas for intervention
  • Retrieve and transform data as necessary from existing data warehouses
  • Using these models, collaboratively implement systems to provide model-guided estimate on future course of individual members to care managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, similar quantitative field required. 
  • PhD or M.S. in the same preferred. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in deep learning methodologies including convolutional and recurrent networks used to solve real-world problems. 
  • Expert knowledge of deep learning systems including TensorFlow and at least one other required. 
  • Good Python skills.
  • Expertise in deep learning approaches to natural language processing strongly preferred. 
  • Problem solving, organizational and communication skills (oral and written) are required.

Salary Range: $36.31 to $61.51
