Description

UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Member Engagement Analyst to help support the Government Segment Marketing Team. The Member Engagement Analyst position will implement member engagement campaigns for the CHIP, Medical Assistance and MLTSS product lines. The Member Engagement Analyst will work with the Campaign Managers and Marketing Database Campaign Teams to implement member engagement and education campaigns. This includes creating program specific requirements, tracking marketing campaigns, completing data entry analysis, auditing fulfillment and import processes, and reporting upon response and results data. Reports to the Campaign Manager, Member Engagement

Responsibilities:
  • Develops member engagement campaign processes
  • Implements campaign tracking and completes regular campaign maintenance
  • Maintains inventory of all member engagement and education campaigns and activities for the government product lines
  • Maintains relationship between Government Segment Marketing Team & Marketing Database Campaign Team
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions to complete marketing analysis and/or assist campaign manager(s)
  • Reports on campaign results, creating specialized reports as needed
  • Trouble shoots and works to fix issues within the Marketing Database and/or member campaigns; recording issues and maintaining requests/enhancements
  • Works effectively on simultaneous campaigns
  • Works efficiently within time constraints to meet deadlines-ability to respond in a resourceful manner when issues arise
  • Works with sales staff and other internal departments as necessary to complete projects
  • Works with the Campaign Manager, Member Engagement to create parameters/requirements for all member engagement and education campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or related industry required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in communications campaign design and implementation; developing member health-related marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Knowledge of Government insurance products-CHIP, Medicaid, Long Term Services & Supports (MLTSS) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relational lead and sales databases, data management, and querying and analyzing data is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. 
  • Competent in Microsoft Office-high proficiency in Access, Excel, and customer relationship management databases-preferable knowledge of MS Project.
  • Three to five years of marketing experience is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $20.60 to $35.57
