Description

Purpose:
This project, ABCD Social Development (ABCD-SD), is being conducted as part of a large project on Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD: see abcdstudy.org) in Pittsburgh and 20 other sites around the country.  We are the lead site for ABCD-SD, and we will be coordinating the activities of our site in addition to four other sites at outside universities.

 

This position is grant funded.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
  • Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
  • Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
  • Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
  • Provides regular supervision for junior staff.
  • Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, business administration or related area of study and three (3) years of relevant research and/or clinical experience is required.

 

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management

Salary Range: $19.70 to $32.88
