Description

Purpose:
Our lab studies adolescent brain development and mental health. We use methods including clinical interviewing, MRI, and behavior tasks, and we often conduct longitudinal studies in which we assess people multiple times over years. We are committed to reducing suffering through our research, and we strongly value a commitment to that goal, as well as team orientation, conscientiousness, and problem solving.

 

This position is grant funded.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
  • Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
  • Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
  • Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
  • Provides regular supervision for junior staff.
  • Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, business administration or related area of study and three (3) years of relevant research and/or clinical experience is required.
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families is preferred.

 

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance

Salary Range: $19.70 to $32.88
