Description

Clerical Assistance to the Remote Monitoring Nurses. Assist in the management and storage of Telehealth equipment. Transport, install, troubleshoot and tear down Telehealth equipment in the home.

 

This position will also involve walking patients through the set up of their Tablet, or Smartphone.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble Telehealth equipment for installation to include peripherals.
  • Attend compliance training and adhere to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
  • Clerical Assistance to the Remote Monitoring Nurses.
  • Collaborates with the Remote Monitoring Nurses regarding referrals and installation of equipment.
  • Communicate appropriately with the Telehealth team in a timely manner, reporting any issues.
  • Communicates with patients regarding the Remote Monitoring program.
  • Focus on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Identify, develop and participate in process improvement opportunities within the home health organization that will enhance the quality of services we provide.
  • Management and storage of Telehealth equipment.
  • Oversee equipment annual inspection.
  • Participate in all required agency meetings.
  • Perform duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health, L.P. towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
  • Prints reports as required and directed.
  • Proven ability to facilitate change.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Transport, install, troubleshoot and tear down Telehealth equipment.
  • Utilizes Horizon Home Care and Home Care Automation to register and obtain patient information.
  • Wipe down equipment after each use.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year Home Health experience preferred.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
    CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

  • Act 33 Child Clearance
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Automotive Insurance
  • Basic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Driver's License
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act
