Description

Purpose:
Plans, administers, coordinates, and facilitates onboarding, and staff developmental programs and provide on-going assessment of the effectiveness of these programs. Assist in the design, implementation and development of orientation and new training programs, and update existing programs as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate staff and manager development opportunities consistently across UPMC.
  • Assist in the assessment of learning needs of the organization through conducting basic learning consultation (and other assessment methods) with HR partners, leaders, and learners.
  • Effectively communicate with HR partners, leaders, and learners.
  • Assist in the design and development of programs and provide input for ongoing staff and manager development content updates and maintenance of programs.
  • Determine the effectiveness of learning and the transfer of learned skills to the workplace by using a variety of measurement tools that include evaluations, assessments, and surveys (when appropriate).
  • Be a central reference point for inquiries related to staff and manager development, onboarding, and related programs.
  • Work closely with other learning professionals to offer assistance and ensure consistency in program delivery.
  • Stay updated with learning industry trends and make recommendations to support the organization’s learning goals.
  • Participate in projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Training, and Development or related field.
  • Minimum two years of combined experience in Training and Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training curriculum design, development and delivery.
  • Must be highly organized, creative, timely, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft products.
  • Must be able to work regular business hours with scheduling flexibility.

Salary Range: $20.60 to $35.57
