Description

Functions as a change agent, facilitator, teacher and resource person in assessing the learning needs of Susquehanna Health Medical Group (SHMG) staff. Assists in the planning, organization, creation, implementation and evaluation of the non-clinical and/or clinical educational activities involving new and/or existing software programs within SHMG. Serves as resource to all physician offices within SHMG.

Responsibilities:
  • Answers questions or troubleshoots problems for users during go-live events as well as post go-live.
  • Assists with project plans and software Go-Live events.
  • Educates staff individually or in a group setting.
  • Evaluates and reviews the education curriculum/material used to teach the software programs.
  • Identifies issues that should be escalated via the appropriate processes in a timely manner; facilitates use of the Customer Service Center to document client issues/requests.
  • Performs testing/validation on software program changes.
  • Presents formal and informal educational programs to engage diverse audiences in order to meet all learning styles.
  • Provides assessments, education and follow-up services to all SHMG staff utilizing the non-clinical and/or clinical software programs.
  • Works with internal team as well as external resources to evaluate, develop and implement inclusive and customized solutions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field preferred. Two years clerical/secretarial experience required. Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred, experience with practice management system(s) preferred and teaching experience preferred.
