Description

UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Digital Product Engagement Manager to help support the Consumer Innovation Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location at the US Steel Tower. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position.


The Digital Product Engagement Manager will work with Marketing and digital product development teams to create individual product and portfolio value propositions for external and internal audiences for UPMC Health Plan's digital (mobile/web) properties that deliver plan management, intervention, and operational capabilities to our members, partners, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the competitive market, industry trends, and regulation
  • Assist with the development of business cases for new products or features
  • Collaborate across business units to drive engagement strategies across products and disciplines
  • Collaborate with multiple Digital Product Managers and Marketing to define and communicate holistic value proposition and positioning across our digital product portfolio to the market
  • Communicate the value propositions to our sales teams, member support teams, and other partners
  • Communicate the value provided by the entire Consumer Innovation department
  • Develop effective communication collateral for product benefits, roadmaps, etc. for leadership and other stakeholders
  • Interact directly with members of target audiences
  • Understand company products and how they relate to each other and the core value that the Health Plan offers
  • Work with various teams to help plan product launch, update, and event communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Business, Product Development, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5 years experience
  • Experience in mobile and web/digital product development, consulting or marketing
  • Experience as a Digital Product Engagement Manager, Product Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role preferred
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Ability to work across levels and disciplines of an organization
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts using digital tools (Office, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and/or other relevant tools)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Some experience crafting concise and effective end-user facing communications
  • Understanding of digital analytics

Salary Range: $36.31 to $61.51
