Description

We are looking to hire a Research Assistant to work in our seep study lab, examining the effects of night shift work on health and sleep in retirees. We are collecting sleep, work and medical histories, actigraphy data and examining cardio-metabolic and circadian rhythms through lab studies.


They will be assisting with research procedures during the sleep lab, preparing for participant visits, entering and processing data, telephone recruitment screening, and keeping accurate records.

 

This position is grant funded.

 

Purpose:
Perform research related functions in support of a grant funded research project.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform entry level research related functions in support of a research project(s).
  • Perform more advanced clerical and/or data entry responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Familiarity with computers and common software packages required.
  • Knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.
  • Prior research experience preferred.
  • Overnight work required for this position.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
