The Product Owner, Sitecore, will be responsible for partnering with marketing and IT leadership to ensure a modern, and best practice fueled Sitecore instance is built and maintained across upmchealthplan.com public web properties. The Sitecore admin will maintain the product roadmap, work on feature implementation and maintenance with IT and advise digital marketing on strategic deployment and utilization of Sitecore features for public sites and marketing campaigns.  The ideal candidate will have prior digital marketing experience with extensive expertise in Sitecore.

The Marketing Communications Department is based in Pittsburgh, PA, but the selected candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Marketing stakeholders to build business requirements for Sitecore, ensuring proper utilization of the tool, leveraging accessibility, language translation, drag and drop, and personalization features.
  • Act as primary support point person between IT engineering, digital marketing and the platform.
  • Manage backlog of support and enhancement requests and ideas.
  • Collaborate with web team to ensure standards of excellence, robust tracking, and channel readiness are operational at all times.
  • Liaison between marketing and IT and/or Sitecore account team and Sitecore support to deliver flexible public web experiences and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Resolving errors within platform and interfacing with vendor resources and internal support resources.
  • Assist with UAT and validate campaign components and configurations for new feature releases and major site rollouts.
  • Prepare and maintain use cases, user stories and roadmap for Sitecore.
  • Assist with ongoing definition and permissions of users across engineering and marketing.
  • Monitor performance of the CMS, flagging and resolving platform issues and ensure timely rollout across properties.
  • Maintain and deliver backlog of continuous improvement uses of the tool.
  • Ensure Sitecore instance meets all regulatory and data privacy requirements from a technical perspective.
  • Advocate for Sitecore feature sets and functionalities and be SME on the latest offerings and best practices within the Sitecore platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Technology-related fields.
  • 7-8 years of experience working in digital marketing.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in Sitecore.
  • Experience in program management and/or CMS implementation experience is a plus.
  • Sitecore Certified in versions 8, 9, or 10.
  • Microsoft Azure Basics Certified with extensive experience working in Azure environments.
  • Preferred experience working in Agile.
  • Fluent with Microsoft productivity products (Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
  • Preferred basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, SQL, CSS.
