Across UPMC, our guiding principle is to always prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and members. UPMC believes that vaccination is important, helps protect all, and advocates that everyone who can be vaccinated should be vaccinated.

UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

UPMC is now hiring for our Employee Transit and Equipment Depot teams. Come meet us for an interview event on Thursday, September 1st from 9:00am-4:00pm. Walk-ins are welcome and no pre-scheduled interview times are required. You will be meeting with a member of our management team and learning about the jobs and benefits of becoming a UPMC employee! We are hiring for the following jobs:

  • Shuttle Bus Drivers: Transport our employees to and from our Pittsburgh hospitals for work.
  • Warehouse and Delivery Specialists: Warehouse and transport medical equipment to and from our Pittsburgh hospitals.

Positions offered can range from $15.98 - $19.00 per hour based on experience.

  • Commercial Driver's License plus Passenger Endorsement additionally required for Shuttle Bus Driver
    • May also be hiring at the time of the event for Shuttle Trainees, Van Drivers, Dispatchers, and Laborers (CDL+P not required)
