Description

Provides professional nursing care from a multi-line centralized communication center, offering triage and health information to patients under supervision of patient care providers.

  • Sign-On Bonus Details:
    • $5,000 - 2yr Commitment | 0-1yr exp. 
    • $7,500 - 2yr Commitment | 1yr+ exp. 


Responsibilities:

  • Assists with statistical data collection
  • Processes prescription refills
  • Orders labs/testing per standing orders and schedules appointments with appropriate office as needed
  • Communicates with other departments and pharmacies regarding patient needs, as necessary.
  • Documents accurately all call inquiries, communicating complex triage calls with registered nurse, supervisor and/or providers and pends verbal orders.
  • Provides patient education regarding disease management and medications, and anticipatory guidance and counseling.
  • Provides healthcare recommendations based on registered nurse, advanced practice professional (APP) or physician's assessment of patient needs using approved protocols.
  • Assesses patient's chief complaint and relays to next level provider.
  • Provides healthcare information to patients through telecommunications media using the nursing process.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
  • One year clinical experience preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
