Description

University of Pittsburgh Physicians Department of Psychiatry is hiring a full-time Project Coordinator, Administrative to support their team in the Chairman's Office at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. In this position, you will work Monday-Friday during daylight hours asssiting with creating physician offer letters and employment agreements, working on compensation allocations, time study reporting, and ad hoc analyses/projects.

This position provides opportunities for advancement and the potential to work from home. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Support the planning & marketing functions of the organization.
  • General involvement with all Human Resource aspects of the organization.
  • Participate in the faculty and staff review process.
  • Assist in various aspects of the Press-Ganey customer satisfaction survey process.
  • Complete special projects under the direction of Administration.
  • Support the health benefit management function for 1,200 faculty members.
  • Coordinate the medical malpractice renewal process for faculty members.
  • Support the payroll function for faculty and/or staff members.
  • Coordinates with the UPMC Health System Payroll Office, the University of Pittsburgh Payroll Office, University of Pittsburgh Dean's Office, and other applicable departments.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • B.A. degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years work experience preferably in a health care setting.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CCM training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
