UPMC Corporate Human Resources is hiring a Business Analyst- Associate to join our team!  The position will work at the US Steel Tower in downtown Pittsburgh.   This position will work Monday through Friday and can start anywhere from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.  The Analyst will work a hyrbid schedule, which includes one to two days onsite per week for meetings.

The Business Solutions Team plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational, and technical improvements across Talent Acquisition. Support strategic operational projects by providing data via data analysis, process mapping and design, and project coordination.

  • Assist in the team's organization against key initiatives by maintaining project trackers and key decision matrices.
  • Monitor candidate help mailboxes and distribute complex inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Perform statistical analyses as requested and communicate findings to a non-technical audience.
  • Utilize appropriate software (Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) to visualize concepts and process maps for the purpose of communicating ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Assist with the documentation of business requirements.
  • Assist in testing new processes/technical changes.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field and one year of experience with recruitment technology, data analysis, or business process design required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience with recruitment technology, data analysis, or business process design required.
    • Basic Excel skills required.
