We have an exciting opportunity available as a Manager, Recruitment with our UPMC International HR team. If you're an experienced recruitment leader, preferably with international recruitment experience, then this may be the perfect fit for you!
The Manager, Recruitment is responsible to provide leadership for, and manage the day-to-day work of, the US based UPMC International Talent Acquisition (TA) team. The manager will assist with developing and implementing international recruitment strategies that are rooted in customer and candidate experience. The International team is responsible for inbound international nurse recruitment to the US, physician leadership recruitment in various countries, c-suite recruitment, and much more.
We're looking for someone who is obsessed with providing an excellent customer and candidate experience, and highly engaged and invested in the team they lead. Additionally, we're looking for someone who is business-savvy, highly responsive, exceptionally driven, and completely at ease working with urgency. A successful candidate will use their prior experience to implement best practices and proactively drive process improvement and positive customer experiences. Comfort with ambiguity and a passion for driving results is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily workflow and recruitment activities for a team of US based recruitment professionals. Develop and mentor recruitment staff.
- Embrace a culture of collaboration across our multinational recruitment teams located in China, Ireland, and Italy as well as with colleagues and HR leaders in the Hospital Services Division.
- Develop creative multinational sourcing strategies that enable strategic sourcing and engagement, talent attraction, and an inclusive identification and assessment process.
- Actively recruit for vacancies globally as assigned. Build and present a diverse pipeline of candidates that possess UPMC's core competencies.
- Ability to communicate with executives in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong cultural competence required to build and establish relationships across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Understand and communicate current vacancies and recruitment priorities. Identify and communicate trends in the applicant pool.
- Understand, monitor, and maintain compliance with EEO and OFCCP regulations within the US and internal UPMC policies. Understand and have the ability to communicate career levels, compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities within the assigned service line.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all customers and team members. Responsible for building a culture rooted in Dignity and Respect and for holding team members accountable to the same.
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities. Identify, support, and assist with the planning for external and internal recruitment events in conjunction with the creative services team, to include travel/attendance at events as needed.
- Responsible for the preparation of pipeline/hiring reporting.
- Identify, support, and assist with recruitment related marketing in conjunction with the creative services team.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or related field and at least five years of recruitment experience, including two years of prior progressive leadership experience required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams across functions.
- Proficient with recruitment related software, and database mining.
- The Manager, Recruitment will be measured for success against standards of: key recruitment metrics, quality control, people leadership and management, customer relationship management, candidate experience management, partnerships with human resources/recruitment colleagues, team and personal development.
