Description

Our UPMC Insurance Services Division HR Team is hiring a Recruiter!  This is a regular, full-time position that works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility.

In this role, the Recruiter coordinates of all aspects of the hiring process for departments as well as problem solving assistance related to the employment process. Daily job duties include posting positions for recruitment, reviewing applications, sourcing passive candidates, extending job offers, and so much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary employment consultant for designated departments. 
  • Facilitate job posting system. Confirm job requirements on recruitment request form with those on the approved job description to assure correct requirements are posted.
  • Choose the most qualified candidates to refer to departments based upon documented objective criteria consistent with the legal requirements, job description, qualifications, and business unit policies in a timely manner.
  • Conduct employment screening interviews for internal and external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management.
  • Comply, analyze and prepare reports on the computer and works on special projects as requested.
  • Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of recruitment experience required.  
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of recruitment experience required.  
  • Prior full-cycle, agency, or admissions recruitment is preferred.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
