UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

UPMC North Central  has an opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician  to serve as POC Ultrasound Medical Director  in the greater Williamsport, PA region. This full-time employed position requires just  1600 hours annually (only 800-1000 hours direct patient care)and includes a robust UPMC benefits package including medical/dental, retirement with matching and tuition assistance. Opportunity to support  Level 2 trauma center Emergency  Department, as well as three other community EDs in the region.

  • 38 bed department including trauma bays and locked psychiatric unit  
  • 45K annual ED visits
  • Level II Trauma Center (Williamsport Regional Medical Center) 
  • No response for floor codes
  • Mix of 8 & 10 hour shifts
  • No Fast Track
  • 24 Hour Interventional Cardiology, CT, MRI, Anesthesia
  • Strong base salary, no productivity requirements
