Description
UPMC North Central has an opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to serve as POC Ultrasound Medical Director in the greater Williamsport, PA region. This full-time employed position requires just 1600 hours annually (only 800-1000 hours direct patient care)and includes a robust UPMC benefits package including medical/dental, retirement with matching and tuition assistance. Opportunity to support Level 2 trauma center Emergency Department, as well as three other community EDs in the region.
- 38 bed department including trauma bays and locked psychiatric unit
- 45K annual ED visits
- Level II Trauma Center (Williamsport Regional Medical Center)
- No response for floor codes
- Mix of 8 & 10 hour shifts
- No Fast Track
- 24 Hour Interventional Cardiology, CT, MRI, Anesthesia
- Strong base salary, no productivity requirements

Qualifications
BC/BE Emergency Medicine
Must be qualified for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
