Our UPMC International Human Resources team is excited to add a Senior International Recruiter to the department! This is a regular, full-time position that works EST daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with remote flexibility.
In this role, the Senior International Recruiter will be responsible for inbound nurse recruitment to the United States. They'll assist and lead the development, implementation, and management of our global recruiting strategies. Additionally, they'll create, develop, and manage global pipelines of recruitment talent through strategic sourcing and networking. Daily job responsibilities may include posting positions for recruitment, sourcing through a variety of recruitment platforms, preparing and negotiating complex offers, and much more.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, competition and collaborate with Executive Leaders and HR about sources and strategies to attract applicants for high need areas.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing tools to attract an international pool of candidates. Research new and creative cost-effective candidate sources internationally for niche areas.
- Deliver the best candidate experience and highest quality of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and initiate effective and innovative global recruitment sources and initiatives for attracting and retaining the best-qualified candidates.
- Review and evaluate candidate applications and/or resume in terms of related experience, education and skill rejecting those not meeting the minimum qualifications on the approved job description.
- Identify and implement global diversity recruitment initiatives to bring in diverse talent into our roles.
- Develop the appropriate relationships with international schools, members of professional global organizations and global community members to develop international talent channels.
- In-depth knowledge of employee and candidate contracts and global mobility processes including Non-Competes, Employment Agreements, Retention bonuses, visa processing, etc.
- Responsible for creating and negotiating complex offers.
- Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), providing the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities.
- Proactively build and create global candidate pipelines; track individuals with hard-to-find skill sets to network for future opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required and three years of recruitment experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of recruitment experience required.
- Previous global recruitment experience preferred
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Spanish is required.
- Experience with applicant tracking or HRIS systems required.
- Experience designing and implementing models to find applicants for hard to fill positions.
