We're searching for an HR Project Analyst to join our UPMC Corporate Payroll team. This is a regular, full-time position that works EST daylight hours, Monday through Friday. A perk of this position includes fully remote work flexibility!
In this role, the HR Project Analyst will handle training and communication for managers as it relates to payroll and pay practices. They'll help streamline the administrative payroll related tasks for managers and timekeepers, allowing them to focus on the primary duties of their position. Additionally, they'll be the primary contact for the maintenance of our Payroll Forms portal, and the development of other various operational applications

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans and executes all project initiatives within the timeline defined for each project effort.
- Work with Human Resources team on a variety of operational project initiatives, including documentation of new processes and procedures and refinement of existing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal Human Resources team members on all project initiatives taking into account the needs of each areas customer groups and adjusting approach as needed to accommodate.
- Provide oversight to the tracking of documentation of the department's internal shared portal and ensures best practices for use of the site are administered.
- Work with the department's Data Coordinator to develop key metrics for analysis; includes heavy use of Oracle queries as well as Excel to develop analytical reports for use in strategic planning and decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and two years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a heavy emphasis on Human Resources operations, performance and talent management programs required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a heavy emphasis on Human Resources operations, performance and talent management programs required.
- Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications with significant Excel and Power Point experience is required; experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
