Description

We're searching for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our UPMC Senior Services HR team!  This is a great chance to start your recruitment career and learn from an experienced team of human resources professionals.

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is a regular, full-time position that works daylight hours, Monday through Friday.  A perk of this position includes flexible work arrangements that allow you to spend the majority of your time working at home!

In this role, the Talent Acquisition Assistant provides recruitment support to the Talent Acquisition team, and interacts with external candidates seeking job opportunities.  Daily job responsibilities may include reviewing applications, outreaching to passive candidates about job opportunities at UPMC, creating recruitment flyers, attending career events, and so much more!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist recruitment team with parts of the recruitment process including but not limited to sourcing candidates, running reports, auditing positions, and social media advertising.
  • Responsible for building a culture rooted in Dignity and Respect and for holding team members accountable to the same.
  • Assist in the execution of Talent Acquisition events.
  • Ensure process compliance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Serve as point of contact for general candidate, employee, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage invoicing and expenses as appropriate.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with one year of progressively responsible administrative experience required (preferably in a human resources environment).
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
    • OR successful completion of the UPMC Summer Associate Program/Pittsburgh Fellows Program required.
