UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

Full time positions are eligible for a generous sign-on bonus!  

 
Sign-On Bonus Details:

• $2,000 sign-on bonus available with a 2 year work commitment 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care skill as directed by the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in a safe manner according to policy and procedure.
  • Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate the patient needs.
  • Assist with food distribution and feeding residents.
  • Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, nail care, hair care, and dressing Assist in transferring residents.
  • Document in the medical record according to established procedures.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant Certification 
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance w Renewal
  • OAPSA
