Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate person to join the Geriatric Neuropsychology Research Program (GNRP)! Our team is involved in 15-20 funded research studies, many of which focus on cognitive aging, mood disorders, and interventions to prevent cognitive decline. Because we work with people of varied backgrounds and abilities, including those whom have traditionally been marginalized in society, we are looking for someone who will bring a high level of sensitivity and empathy to work. You will learn to administer cognitive tests and clinical evaluations independently. If you're considering a job in health services, neuropsychology, psychology, research or the healthcare field in general, this position may be right for you!
We are looking for a self-starter who works well independently and on a team. Candidates with strong interpersonal and organization skills or those interested in a clinical career are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be trained to administer cognitive and clinical evaluations and will act as a primary assessor for the lab. Most assessors administer evaluations 3-4 times per week. When not conducting these evaluations, the candidate will prepare the data derived from the assessments to be interpreted by the Neuropsychologists with the goal of understanding participants’ cognitive performance.
