Job Summary:
The Process Analyst is responsible for leading Supply Chain Management projects/initiatives related to business process development and improvement, and business process infrastructure.
STATUS: Full time
SCHEDULE: 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. - Monday - Friday
WORK FROM HOME OPTIONS (WFH): (after training and orientation) 3 days WFH per week
LOCATION: Grant St, PGH Pa, 15219
Responsibilities:
- Complete analysis and propose initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and service.
- Manage the resolution of vendor invoice/payment issues that are escalated to UPMC Management.
- Manage Accounts Payable control reports and address process gaps
- Oversee the relationships with third party vendors who provide outsourced services to UPMC Accounts Payable.
- Assist in business process improvement training as needed.
- Oversee Accounts Payable activities in the absence of the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Analyze invoice entry and invoice payment issues. Design solutions to resolve the issues and improve the overall procure to pay process flow.
- Continuous process improvements over key areas of accountability.
- Prepare and present project status reports as needed.
- Support the implementation of operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field and three years work experience in business process design and optimization. OR Master's degree in a related field and three years of general business experience. OR successful completion of the FMR program
- Strong procurement, sourcing and payables skills required.
- Must demonstrate a functional understanding of project management tools, methods, and resource allocation and other project management functions.
- Professional certifications (CPM, PPM, CPSM, APICS) are a benefit
- Ability to work under pressure and in tense situations.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations utilizing PC applications.
- Ability to establish priorities and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Courtesy in dealing with all customers is required.
- Must be able to provide clear consistent direction and guidance to other departments within UPMC.
