UPMC is hiring a Team Lead, Clean Sweep to support Western Behavioral Health at Mon Yough in McKeesport, PA.
The Team Lead, Clean Sweep will train and supervise individuals in work behaviors and janitorial skills at a variety of sites, assisting in the completion of janitorial duties while preparing them for potential placement in an integrated community setting, including 1:1 supports as necessary.
The shift for this position is Monday - Friday daylight with a flexible schedule. The ideal hire for this position must have two years of prior janitorial or related experience, be a team-player, and have excellent time management and communication skills. The dress code is casual.
Responsibilities:
- Immediately inform Supervisor of any areas of concerns, needs, or unusual events.
- Implement ISP Goal Plans using creative methods to meet the needs of each consumer.
- Responsible for completing all assigned paperwork accurately, thoroughly meeting specified deadlines in accordance to county and state regulations, including daily/monthly charting of individual's progress.
- Responsible for following program/agency policy and procedures, state regulations and the agency compliance plan at all times.
- Transport program participants to and from job sites.
- Responsible for the assessment and evaluation of individuals in specific skill areas.
- Provide accurate thorough on the job janitorial skills training to program participants, through both modeling and through providing direct assistance in the completion of tasks.
- Responsible for practicing good safety habits and procedures at all times. Responsible for attending 24 hours of approved training annually. Responsible for attending relevant information/new ideas in a professional manner.
- Assist with and implement accurate time studies of tasks and program participants.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by supervisor and program manager in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain courteous relationships with all consumers, family members, customers, case managers, co-workers and any other internal or external contacts, striving to exceed their expectations for service, quality and delivery.
- Provide supervision of program participants while at the job site according to the ISP.
- Assist with the cleaning duties as needed to meet all contract specifications and expectations of the customer, including but not limited to daily cleaning tasks and routine floor care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years related experience
- Required to be able to lift 20 pounds unassisted and more than 20 pounds assisted.
- Must complete application to request clearance from Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Background Investigation
- Must be able to respond to crisis situations with quick physical responsiveness i.e. running, providing physical support/intervention
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Act 73 if they have lived outside of PA in the past 2 years
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
- Driver's License
- Act 34
- OAPSA
