Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a Project coordinator who will be responsible for various projects including school health partnerships, coordinating programs to meet patients’ health related social needs, improving access to care, plan and report development, maintenance of data and information resources supporting programs and initiatives.
This person will travel to school districts and clinical partners which will include the Penn Hills School District, Cornell School District, New Brighton School District, Children's Community Practice locations and more.
This position will be based out of the main hospital location in Lawrenceville.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, development, and implementation programs and initiatives.
- Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives. Communicate problems or complex requests to the Management.
- Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
- Participate in the documentation and submission of service requests to business unit contacts, or system vendor(s). Assist in the assignment of request priorities, and monitor and communicate the progress of the assigned requests.
- Assist with department administrative support.
- Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
- Provide support, where needed, for all events and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or related field with two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required OR one year experience in project planning and/or administrative functions with completion of UPMC Summer Associates required OR High School degree plus 5 years of administrative, project planning experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent client service skills and proven ability to deal effectively with employees required.
- Ability to coordinate projects, manage tasks, establish priorities make decisions, and follow issues through to resolution as directed, required.
