UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is hiring a full-time Project Analyst. This is a Monday through Friday daylight role in a hybrid schedule (combination of in-office and work-from-home), reporting to our Shadyside campus in Pittsburgh, PA with the possibility of fully remote once training is completed.
The Project Analyst will provide support and accountability for project management efforts across the Cancer Center. This position will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, and reporting progress and performance for defined project objectives and measures as well as for assisting in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with members of UPMC management and staff regarding assigned projects
- Assist in the development of business cases, work plans, communications, etc.
- Maintain project documents within approved archival systems.
- Generate necessary project documentation, including meeting minutes, project deliverables, etc.
- Handle project administrative duties including scheduling requirements, SharePoint requirements, etc.
- Advise supervising Project Manager and others of pending due dates.
- Identify and help resolve potential issues and/or barriers which are critical to the success of a project.
Qualifications
- B.A. degree, preferably in business, finance, or the sciences.
- 2 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in health care insurance or the health care industry preferred.
- Excellent computer skills required, including MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) are required.
- Very well organized and deadline conscious.
- Project Management knowledge and future potential to manage multiple projects required.
