Description

Flex Fulltime 28 hours a week/56 hours per pay period - Can be up to 40 hours a week when coverage is needed.

Day/Evening shift with rotation

 

 

Purpose:
Provides general information on the telephone as required in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies/procedures. Responds promptly to paging requests and codes. Performs a variety of clerical duties to insure the appropriate and timely recording of patient, medical staff and employee information. Operate all IT Support Services equipment and perform maintenance in an acceptable and satisfactory manner and in accordance with established department policies and procedures. Demonstrates flexibility in response to emergencies, staffing, or scheduling changes.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Functions independently in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties to insure the appropriate and timely recording of patient, medical staff, and employee information.
  • Communicates effectively and in a courteous manner with all customers.Hospital Department.
  • Provides general information on the telephone as required in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with staff in all areas of information Technology Services.
  • Recognizes equipment in need of repair or replacement and insures that noted discrepancies are reported and/or corrected.
  • Operate all IT Support Services equipment and perform maintenance in an acceptable and satisfactory manner and in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
  • Responds to paging requests in an effective and appropriate manner.
  • Responds to emergency alarm system in an effective and appropriate manner.
  • Perform password reset functions for applications.

 

Qualifications

Associates Degree or Diploma from an accredited University OR at least two (2) years equivalent experience.The following skills are preferred: Previous telephone and support experience preferred. Previous experience in a heath care environment preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
