Description

Re:Solve Crisis Network has multiple openings for Crisis Clinician I positions!  Must be able to work varying shifts and days.  We have openings in the following departments:

  • Mobile
  • Phones
  • Walk In/Overnight

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist consumer in developing a crisis plan.
  • Complete consumer/family crisis assessments (face to face and telephone).
  • Manage crisis situations effectively using positive approaches.
  • Meet standards for documentation and completes all required paperwork.
  • Provide crisis services in a community and/or office setting.
  • Provide follow-up services to consumers by phone and/or mobile visits.
  • Provide insight & knowledge of insurance programs, processes and able to obtain authorizations as needed.
  • Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability.
  • Support consumer and negotiates appropriate referral services.
  • Utilize specific techniques of motivational interviewing.
  • Work efficiently and independently in crisis setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work with three (3) years of clinical experience required 
OR 
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required. 
  • Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services (IMPORTANT: IF YOUR DEGREE IS NOT IN PSYCHOLOGY, COUNSELING OR SOCIAL WORK, PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR TRANSCRIPTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED).
  • Work history that includes phone triage, as well as an in depth knowledge and proven skill at doing psychiatric assessments preferred. 
  • Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in home therapy preferred. 
  • Excellent, recovery-oriented interpersonal relations. 
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and to assume on call responsibilities.
  • May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored or may transport medications when they transport patients. Transportation of medication is limited from one department to another.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management - CCM training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
  • Driver's License
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act
