UPMC Susquehanna - Williamsport Regional Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist/Weekend. Incumbent receives a generous incentive pay rate to work 10-hour shifts each weekend.


Generous Incentive rate of pay offered!

Part-time 20 hours per week

Days: Saturday & Sunday


Performs an assessment of the patient based on the physician or practitioner's diagnosis and instructions. Implements a treatment program specific to the patient's age and needs. Therapy services are provided on Saturdays and Sundays.


  • Receives, schedules treats and provides therapy for referred patients.
  • Performs patient assessment based on physician and/or practitioners diagnosis and prescription. Develops and implements a treatment program appropriate to the patient's age.
  • Completes daily documentation of patient progress as required. Prepares appropriate patient status summaries at the time of discharge and assures that the report is sent to the appropriate party.
  • Provides assistance in obtaining assistive devices and durable medical supplies for patients as requested or required.
  • Assists in supervising students, volunteers, externs and support staff and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Participates in delivering educational programs to hospital staff and to client groups when requested.
  • Prepares appropriate patient status summaries at the time of discharge and ensures that the report is sent to the appropriate staff.
  • Informs patients as they reach the limits of third-party treatment limitations.


Bachelors in Occupational Therapy required. Masters in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Occupational Therapist licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy or eligible for certification required.
  • Functional Independence Measure certification required within 8 weeks of hire.
