Manage the Supply Chain staff, ensure that appropriate Supply Chain support and a complete training program is provided to Chartwell Staff.

  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with staff to review and discuss current tasks and activities.
  • Develop and maintain an expert level of functional knowledge of the Pharmacy inventory applications via in house or external training, seminars or conferences.
  • Ensure that a complete training program is provided to Chartwell staff for all inventory applications.
  • Lead or participate in pharmacy integrations from a system and operational perspective, which may include the establishment of work plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee bi-annual physical inventory counts and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Participate in the implementation of additional applications by performing or assigning project tasks and oversees the planning, development, testing, and conversion activities.
  • Perform timely Performance Management reviews.
  • Responsible for oversight of inventory teams for Chartwell's Specialty and Infusion inventory at all three Chartwell branches. Ensure that appropriate systems support and training is provided for the Chartwell pharmacy users on the pharmacy applications, which will include or interface with, but are not limited to: SCM, HC Pharmacy and various report writing and workflow tools. Responsible for working directly with Finance to research identified issues and discrepancies.
  • See that appropriate documentation is prepared and maintained for all systems supported by the department and as required by Sarbanes-Oxley.


  • B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Science, or equivalent.  
  • 7 years relevant experience (Healthcare experience preferred) 
  • Experience with Infusion and Specialty drugs preferred
  • Experience with perpetual pharmaceutical drugs preffered 
  • Basic Functional understanding of supply chain and financial applications including, but not limited to, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, eProcurement, Warehouse Management, eCommerce technology (EDI, Exchanges, XML) and Pharmacy systems.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 
  • Individual must possess problem solving and decision-making skills to follow issues through to resolution.  
  • Work well in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
