We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong research coordination and grant management background to join a  busy research team. 

This research team is focused on understanding the mechanisms which lead to the generation of psychotic symptoms (delusions and hallucinations) which may occur in multiple disorders. These symptoms are core features of the most common psychotic disorder, schizophrenia, but also occur in about 50% of individuals with Alzheimer Disease. We have proposed that there are common genetic risk factors and vulnerable brain circuits that act together to cause positive symptoms across these disorders. 


To provide coordination and support for special projects and daily activities for the department.

  • Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
  • Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
  • Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
  • Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
  • Keeping and updating information on T32 candidates for yearly reports and appointments to grant
  • Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
  • Maintains and updates publications for yearly reports
  • Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must
  • Provides regular supervision for junior staff.
  • Responsible for payroll via Kronos
  • Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments for Program Director
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Support junior faculty with grant submissions and progress reports
  • Updating budget reports monthly on ongoing grants and meeting with director to plan spending


Bachelors degree in psychology, sociology, business administration or related area of study and three years of relevant research and/or clinical experience is required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
