The Casual Mobile Therapist will provide direct clinical services to children and their families.

  • Completes thorough and meaningful treatment plans and written documentation of all contacts according to established documentation requirements.
  • Consistently demonstrates internal and external quality customer service standards to all that request assistance, responding in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrates sound clinical insight and knowledge.
  • Effectively determines therapeutic needs of the children and families being served and identifies/implements effective treatment strategies.
  • Includes family members in the formulation, development, implementation and monitoring of treatment efforts.
  • Maintain all relevant licenses and certifications required to perform essential duties. Licenses include current valid driver's license, current valid auto insurance coverage with Bodily Injury limits of $100,000/$300,000 or $200,000 Combined single limits on Personal Auto policies, and professional license where applicable.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings, IEPs and other meetings as necessary.
  • Provides clinical and administrative direction and support to designated therapeutic support staff via day-to-day contact, regularly scheduled meetings/supervision sessions, direct observation and random review of clinical documentation.
  • Provides direct clinical services via individual, group, and family therapy and demonstrates appropriate clinical counseling skills.
  • Regulated Supervision requirement; face-to-face supervision with supervisor at least once per month for one hour.
  • Reports to the BHRS Director/Psychological Services Coordinator and BHRS Assistant


  • Master's degree in Mental Health preferably in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and at least one (1) year of experience in a CASSP system (employed by or under contract to a Children and Youth Services, Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, Special Education, or Drug and Alcohol agency working with children), or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency OR
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional

  • Act 126 Child Abuse Reporting
  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
  • Automotive Insurance
  • Driver's License
