This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing projects. The coordinator will work with both internal department and external vendors to complete marketing-related tasks, such as: direct mail, media, website, and general prospect and member materials). The coordinator will also work closely with sales and community relations to provide necessary support and marketing materials as needed. The coordinator will have knowledge of the IKA (customer relations management) database along with tracking marketing campaigns, auditing fulfillment and import processes, and reporting upon lead and sales data. Reports to the Manager of Medicare Marketing.

  • Assists in all marketing-related duties including the coordination of direct mail, media, website, prospect and member materials, and other ad hoc projects
  • Assists in developing necessary policies and procedures applicable to sales and marketing daily functions
  • Assists in evaluating marketing intelligence, market research, and competitor data
  • Assists in project planning and workflow analysis including methods, processes, specific tasks, and project schedules
  • Assists with overseeing creative traffic, production, and distribution of external vendors
  • Has knowledge of IKA maintenance, fulfillment, and auditing
  • Has knowledge of campaign tracking and reporting on leads and sales data
  • Oversees the internal approval process of marketing communications/projects
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions to support the timely execution of marketing projects
  • Works efficiently within time constraints to meet deadlines-ability to respond in a resourceful manner when marketing and/or product issues arise
  • Works with sales staff and other internal departments as necessary to complete marketing-related projects
  • Works with the Compliance department to help ensure CMS compliance on marketing materials


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job related experience required.
  • Minimum of one year marketing experience, Medicare marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare products-HMO, PPO, Supplement, and the Medicare Advantage consumer marketplace is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of relational lead and sales databases, data management, and querying and analyzing data is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Competent in MS Office-high proficiency in Excel and CRM databases-preferable knowledge of MS Project and Visio.
  • Previous experience writing marketing copy is preferred.
  • Experience writing copy for direct mail is a plus.

Salary Range: $17.11 to $28.43
