The Research Assistant provides support as needed to the department. Performs literature searches and assists in the preparation of professional manuscripts and grant proposals and will also be responsible for data collection, entry, and management. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting three research coordinators and MD group with data entry for the current department studies.

  • Assist in data management.
  • Conduct literature searches.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders and internal staff.
  • Organize references and materials for research projects and content areas.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings and seminars, both internally and externally.
  • Perform data collection and entry.
  • Provide support for grant proposal and manuscript development and submission.


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field, or current enrollment, with some experience in research environment. 
  • Experience in the area of public health, psychology, applied research or behavioral health is preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills. 
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and the ability to learn various software packages as needed.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
