Under the direction of management and more senior members of the team, the Systems Engineer � Associate maintains systems, participate in projects, provides end user support, and contributes to team documentation and process improvement.

The Enterprise Orchestration Services team’s primary objective is to facilitate and maintain the integration of Enterprise Infrastructure Technology using vendor provided integrations, custom orchestration, and automation.  The results of these integrations should be a measurable reduction in “IT Friction” and costs through the creation of IT as a service (ITaaS) offerings to the business. 


  • Communication - Responsible for demonstrating appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions to build relationships and accomplish day to day work and projects.
  • Core technology concepts - Responsible for showing a basic understanding of designated technologies and their use. Demonstrates the initiative to learn internal processes and procedures.
  • End user support - Complete basic documented tasks related to end user support.
  • Interactions with Others - Successfully completes projects, tasks, and initiatives by embracing a team-first approach. 
  • Works in collaboration with team and offers feedback, where appropriate, to complete individual and group efforts. 
  • Shows the ability to adjust and be flexible to change by adapting approach when necessary.
  • Maintenance/Upgrades - Follow documented procedures for maintenance and upgrades. Responsible for assisting with Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Project Management - Complete basic project-related tasks and tasks delegated by more senior members of the team. Responsible for time tracking and updating documentation.
  • Self Development - Responsible for continuous self-study, trainings, partnering with more senior members of team, and/or seeking out opportunities to broaden scope to stay up to date with industry and organizational trends. 
  • Seeks feedback from senior team members for development and effectively incorporates feedback into work and behaviors.
  • Troubleshooting/Critical Thinking - Ability to resolve basic issues or offer input on issue resolution.


  • Typically has familiarity with complex systems environments through education or practical experience. 
  • Ability to perform basic/standard IT procedures and protocols.  
  • This position may be required to maintain a 24/7 off hours support as part of a rotation within the team. The frequency varies based upon the number of colleagues in the rotation.
Preferences & Deliverables:
  • Applications primarily used: VMware Orchestrator,  vRealize Automation, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, Postman 
  • Some development experience, ie Javascript, Powershell, Python

  • Must have infrastructure experience in server operating system management (Windows / Linux)

  • Broad Datacenter infrastructure experience is a plus: networking, firewall, load balancing, server virtualization.
