Provides oversight and coordination of agency information technology services and data compliance. Responsible for supervision of organization data operations and referral processing.

  • Develops and conducts educational programs related to application usage for the entire organization. Responsible for evaluation and executive reporting of data application issues and effective resolution development. Proposes, plans and implements improvement analysis related to on-going monitoring and evaluation of organization's data.
  • Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization. Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the organization that will enhance the quality of services provided. Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to facilitate change. Attends compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures
  • Provides oversight to agency's Point of Care (POC) System and supervision to Data Systems Analysts positions which are responsible for aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to clinical information systems and provide direct supervision of Data Application Specialists positions which serve as agency POC support resources.
  • Responsible for comprehensive data application management related to all aspects of development, testing and training for the organization's Information Systems including but not limited to McKesson / Change Healthcare. Serves as agency liaison to CPS Information Technology Department. Responsible for effective processing of patient referral data into the McKesson / Change Healthcare system to ensure accurate and timely patient admissions to organization
  • Responsible for fiscal /clinical analysis reporting to the President and CFO to assist in budgetary preparations and provides trend analysis. Ensures department remains fiscally sound
  • Responsible for organization wide data compliance with Federal, State and Regulatory bodies' standards including but not limited to OASIS, PPS, COP's, and Joint Commission. Provides oversight and education of regulatory information relating to data system's compliance. Responsible for all data reports related to any visitation from regulatory bodies or written regulatory survey requests.
  • Responsible for oversight of upfront billing adjustments and timely operational completion of month end financial closures which ensure proper reimbursement.
  • Serves as organization's senior analyst for creating and managing data applications reports relating to all aspects of the revenue cycle. Responsible for centralization of data reporting for the organization.
  • Serves as project lead during integrations of acquired agencies. Works with the Director of Clinical Informatics and CPS IT to determine integration needs and timeline. Ensures that education is provided to the EHR and interfaces. Works with other agency departments to provide education regarding appropriate use, documentation, and support during implementation.
  • Supervision / oversight of Data Operations to ensure accurate and timely compliance with regulatory and fiscal standards which directly impact the organizations cash flow and on-going regulatory accreditation. Serves as organization's Data Steward and technical resource for HIPAA regulations.


  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, healthcare, education, business, or finance required Demonstrated knowledge of clinical documentation protocols, home health care regulations and standards, home health fiscal parameters, and home health / hospice reimbursement and authorizations required 
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in the home health care industry required 
  • Three (3) years of leadership, management, or related experience required 
  • Five (5) years experience in computer information system environment (preferably in the home healthcare field) preferred 
  • Five (5) years experience as a McKesson / Change Healthcare software systems application educator preferred 
  • Excellent oral and written skills required
