We are hiring multiple Interviewers to work on the Pittsburgh Girls Study, a longitudinal study of young women now ages 21-24 (N=2,450). The Interviewer will interview participants in their homes, which consists of both an online battery as well as IQ testing, as well as some online gaming tasks. This is a casual position that will travel to the participants' homes for the interviews. 

This position is grant funded. 

Explain research study purpose and conduct structured interviews with participants.

  • Assure completeness and accuracy of information obtained.
  • Meet weekly with the Project Coordinator for supervision.
  • To conduct structured interviews with participants, typically in their home.
  • To explain the study to the participant and obtain written consent for participation.


  • High School Degree or Equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred. 
  • At least two years of previous interviewing experience preferred. 
  • Knowledge of research study methods and procedures preferred. 
  • Flexibility in work schedule required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. 
  • Excellent organizational skills required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
  • Valid Driver's License
