Description

Purpose:
UPMC Health Plan is actively seeking an Project Analyst to make an immediate impact supporting their Medicare HCC Department!

 

This persons responsibilities may include but are not limited to: working under the general direction of the collaborating Project Manager for each assigned project, the Project Analyst will provide support and accountability for project management efforts across the organization. This position will be responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting progress and performance for defined project objectives and measures as well as for assisting in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans.

Microsoft Office  knowledge
Able to learn new software
Independent worker able to solve issues on their own
Well organized and to be able to prioritize tasks
Detail Oriented

Responsibilities:

  • Advise supervising Project Manager and others of pending due dates.
  • Assist in the development of business cases, work plans, communications, etc.
  • Communicate with members of UPMC management and staff regarding assigned projects
  • Generate necessary project documentation, including meeting minutes, project deliverables, etc.
  • Handle project administrative duties including scheduling requirements, SharePoint requirements, etc.
  • Identify and help resolve potential issues and/or barriers which are critical to the success of a project.
  • Maintain project documents within approved archival systems.

Qualifications

  • B.A. degree and 2 years experience (preferred)
  • Experience in health care insurance or health care industry preferred
  • Excellent computer skills required, including MS Office Suite Strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) are required
  • Very well organized and deadline conscious.
  • Project Management knowledge and future potential to manage multiple projects required.

Salary Range: $22.60 to $39.11
