Responsible for insuring positive financial and clinical outcomes of the interdisciplinary organization operations and providing oversight to Authorization department

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00-4:30pm
No on-call, weekends, or holidays required

  • Attend compliance training and adhere to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures
  • Coordinates all reimbursement issues between med-surg teams, ortho-rehab department, and sub-contractor services
  • Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction
  • Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of service we provide
  • Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
  • Plans, conducts and coordinates education programs in regard to the impact of clinical practice on reimbursement
  • Proven ability to facilitate change
  • Provides direction of the clinical teams concerning the clinical practice issues which impact reimbursement and compliance
  • Responsible for insuring timely return of signed Plan of Cares and Verbal Orders
  • Responsible for the timely resolution of ungenerated and generated billing issues
  • Serves as a liaison between the branch teams, clinical compliance, and the data system department to insure organization compliance to payor and regulatory standards


  • Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing -Required
  • Baccalaureate degree - Preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of home care experience required
  • Management Experience - Preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Current license as a professional nurse in PA and/or in Ohio where applicable - Required

  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Registered Nurse
