Are you an experienced leader? Are you looking to advance your career in Therapy? The Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services in Home Health is the role for you! The Clinical Supervisor position provides management of rehab service within the multidisciplinary home health care teams to ensure the delivery of quality patient care services in the most cost-effective manner available and to confirm compliance with all regulatory agencies based on agency policy, procedures and direction. Assists with the coordination of students.

  • Advises and facilitates patient care provided by therapy staff in the integrated multidisciplinary teams according to Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission Standards, and the policies and procedures of the home health organization.
  • Assists in the presentation of educational programs within the community.
  • Attends compliance training and adhere to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
  • Develops/maintains six-week therapy schedules and weekend and holiday on call scheduling as appropriate to maintain necessary coverage. Approves vacation requests according to staffing needs in collaboration with Senior Manager of Rehab Services.
  • Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services we provide.
  • Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
  • Proven ability to facilitate change.
  • Provides coordination and oversight of therapy students.
  • Provides orientation, continuing education, and competency evaluation for therapy personnel.
  • Provides overall rehab support and direction within the multidisciplinary teams. Ensures efficient utilization of personnel. Assists in the recruitment, employment and supervision of qualifying therapy professionals. Performs supervisory and joint visits as needed.
  • Provides oversight, monitoring, and education of therapy contracted services for the organization.
  • Serves as a member on agency committees.


  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in state of PA and/or (LPT) where applicable, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Member of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred. OR
  • Licensed Occupational Therapy License in PA required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, B.S. Degree in occupational therapy required.
  • Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Member of American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years home health experience required.
  • Management experience required.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
    CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

  • Act 33 Child Clearance
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Automotive Insurance
  • Basic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Driver's License
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Older Adult Protective Services Act
  • Physical Therapist
