To oversee the daily activities of the pharmacy area at Bayside Pharmacy and Physician Supply Company. Functions as the Operations Manager in their absence to assure the safe, efficient, economic operation of Bayside Pharmacy.

  • Recommends new methods and procedures to improve the efficiency, security and safety in the pharmacy and assists the Operations Manager in the development and implementation of such programs. Makes suggestions and recommendations regarding new projects and ideas to promote Bayside's profitability. Monitors all third party prescription programs to include the computerized submissions and billing and identifies and corrects all discrepancies with a written quarterly report to the Operations Manager. Insures that all prescriptions are delivered to patients in a timely manner. Demonstrates Hamot's commitment to Service Excellence by understanding the needs of patients, their families, physicians and co-workers and doing what is required the first time, every time by being responsible, sensitive, accurate, timely, coordinated and thorough.
  • Trains, schedules, assists in counseling, commendations and evaluations and makes recommendations regarding hires and terminations and performs other leadership responsibilities as necessary. Ensures that all activities in the dispensing area are accurate and timely with proper utilization of all personnel. Maintains high priority for the welfare and satisfaction of patients and customers of Bayside Pharmacy through continuous quality improvement. Fills all prescriptions to the exact order of the physician in a timely manner. Assists the Manger of Operations in maintaining profitability of the pharmacy through prudent purchasing, inventory control, pricing and third party submissions. Assumes the duties of the Manager of Operations in their absence.


  • Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  •  Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment is preferred.
  • endocrinology experience is preferred. 
  • Medication Therapy Management experience is preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
  • Pharmacist

Salary Range: $40.03 to $62.13
