The Research Assistant provides support as needed to the department. Performs literature searches and assists in the preparation of professional manuscripts and grant proposals and will also be responsible for data collection, entry, and management.

This individual will be responsible for assisting the upkeep of Institutional Review Board (IRB) documents for the studies, creating and posting study recruitment material, consenting and enrolling subjects, instructing subjects to complete questionnaires and other research protocols, coordinating with researchers and scheduling subjects for biological sample acquisition and research related study visits, handling human biological specimens such as saliva and blood, entering research data and performing basic database maintenance.


  • Assist in data management.
  • Conduct literature searches.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders and internal staff.
  • Organize references and materials for research projects and content areas.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings and seminars, both internally and externally.
  • Perform data collection and entry.
  • Provide support for grant proposal and manuscript development and submission.

  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance or Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewa
