The Youth and Family Research Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh is dedicated to understanding the causes, course, prevention, and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related behavioral health problems, alcoholism, and drug addictions across the life cycle.

  • Perform basic clerical and/or data entry functions.
  • Perform entry level research related functions in support of a research project(s).


  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to sort and file reports and records that have already been classified or that are easily classified in a simple serial classification system (i.e. alphabetical, chronological, or numerical).
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations in order to maintain department files and routine records.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance
