Description

The UPMC Health Plan Enrollment Team is currently hiring a full-time Manager, Enrollment Services to support the Health Plan's growing office in Erie, PA.  The ideal candidate has a strong background in health insurance enrollment or operations and will champion our dedicated culture of service excellence.

The Manager, Enrollment Services is responsible for providing operational management of group enrollment, member enrollment, and member and client enrollment call center activities. The Manager is responsible for daily supervision and development of Enrollment Service Representatives as well as team attainment of quality; production and turnaround time goals and ensures excellent customer satisfaction for both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources to ensure attainment of all performance standards.
  • Analyze available reports.
  • Continually examine team performance, provide feedback, make recommendations and implement action plans to meet quality and production expectations.
  • Establish effective workflow to facilitate communication and teamwork between departments.
  • Serves as a role model by providing quality services that are responsive to Client needs and proactive in scope. Responds to the needs of individual employees, departments, or other organizations with courtesy, respect, and a positive outlook that reflects the team effort of the department.
  • Supervise and develop team members. Develop/enhance career paths for all levels with in Enrollment Service Center.
  • Work cooperatively with internal departments in the identification of process improvement and development of departmental efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years general business experience.
  • Experience in health care insurance or health care industry preferred, but those with relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
  • Call center experience preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years in operational leadership experience

Salary Range: $24.29 to $40.38
