Purpose:
Role will support small scale ISD Projects across the enterprise from original proposal through final implementation, and post go-live assessments. Support includes providing leadership with analytics supporting prioritization of work effort. Local travel may be required between the U.S. Steel Tower, Oakland office sites, and/or hospital campuses. This position will work within training rooms, provide workbook updates, create accounts and participate and support Project Management activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationships Provide service to ISD client community, patients, families and visitors while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through physician and electronic means.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills utilizing analytics to develop summaries, presentations, and executive reports. Create and present complex data analyses and reports, identify deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement. Prepare communication on current initiatives for dissemination to all levels across the health system.
  • Process Oriented Utilizes organizational and PMO processes and standards to provide consistent and excellent project/portfolio management services. Understands the need and value to continually define and/or improve processes. Assist in the development and modification of policies, guidelines, procedures, systems and documentation to support best practices.
  • Project Planning and Management Coordinate planning and implementation of IT projects and initiatives including documentation, and communication. Utilizes change management to control scope and communicate scope changes. Tracks and reports project progress, and forecast trends. Assist in the assessment of IT projects and make recommendations regarding opportunities for improvement. Perform fact-finding and analyses related to operational initiatives and special projects.
  • Relevant Technical/Business Knowledge Experience in a similar technical/industry. Demonstrates financial awareness. Working knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques and tools. Research and summarize industry and environmental trends as well as other regulatory requirement/issues requested.
  • Team Leadership/Development Supports project team members and colleagues. Builds strong relationships with colleagues and IT partners. Skillfully handles situations and creates positive outcomes. Demonstrates self-awareness. Provides mentoring and support to others in areas of expertise.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of project management through college studies or related work experience required.
