Description

UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Sales and Marketing Analyst to help support the Medicare Sales & Marketing Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location at the U.S. Steel Tower. This is a Monday - Friday daylight position.

 

The Sales and Marketing Analyst position will analyze and report on sales and marketing data along with providing support to sales in various aspects related to the sales process. The sales and marketing analyst will maintain the CRM (customer relationship management) database along with tracking marketing campaigns, completing data entry analysis, auditing fulfillment and import processes, and reporting on lead and sales data. The sales and marketing analyst will support the sales department with processing of broker agent files and helping to build and maintain department systems websites. Reports to the Manager of Medicare Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Audits and maintains lead data entry and fulfillment
  • Develops department systems process improvement, site administration, and building sites
  • Implements campaign tracking and completes regular campaign maintenance
  • Maintains relationship between Medicare Sales & Marketing and IKA Support Department
  • Maintains the Medicare Sales & Marketing CRM database
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions to complete sales and marketing analysis and/or assist sales
  • Reports on leads and sales data, creating specialized reports as needed
  • Responsible for lead data entry and imports into CRM database
  • Supports the brokerage sales area, tasks related to: broker agent appointment process, lead distribution, and mass communication to broker agents
  • Troubleshoots and works to fix issues within CRM; recording issues and maintaining requests/enhancements in Gemini
  • Works efficiently within time constraints to meet deadlines-ability to respond in a resourceful manner when issues arise
  • Works with sales staff and other internal departments as necessary to complete projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or related industry Minimum of two years of experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare products-HMO, PPO, Supplement, and the Medicare Advantage consumer marketplace is preferred
  • Knowledge of relational lead and sales databases, data management, and querying and analyzing data is preferred
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Competent in MS Office-high proficiency in Access, Excel, and customer relationship management databases
  • Knowledge of MS Project
