This position gathers, researches, analysis, prepares, revises, and/or updates information/data for operations process guides, process flows, web content, and other supporting documents to communicate standard information more easily. This position supports operational efficiency influencing improved regulatory, compliance, quality, and production outcomes.

  • Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing subject matter experts, and others; observes and interprets performance of production methods; researches materials; and comprehends process flows and procedures.
  • Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits standard operational documents, materials, and guides. Successfully conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation to provide expected quality outcomes in a timely manner. Researches and translates data processes in a logical and User-Friendly manner
  • Ensures the accurate preparation of documents for interim and final delivery to customer by participating in peer review of documentation; work is reviewed by senior staff at frequent intervals.
  • Establishes positive working relationships. Completed assignments accuracy and on time.
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards
  • Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements
  • Successfully facilitates meetings to gather requirements and deliver expected outcomes. Successfully takes direction and feedback for customers and leadership team. Keeps abreast of technology and information relevant to the position


  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Journalism, English, Writing, Communication or related fields, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience in Operations technical/content writing in the Healthcare industry preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with editing and production tools (i.e. FrameMaker, MS Word, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Arbor Text, Adobe PDF) preferred.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. 
  • Written communication and the ability to tailor communication to target audience.
  • Verbal communication, listening and interviewing skill Interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership.
  • Customer interface skills and understanding of customer needs Ability to perform in consultative capacity and make recommendation to document formats/structure. 
  • Good decision-making skills and organizational skills Self-directed with ability to comprehend and learn quickly. 
  • Ability to accommodate a high volume of work, manage competing demands, set appropriate priorities, and effectively meet multiple deadlines. 
  • Strives to grow expertise in the fundamentals of their job.
